During the mid-90s I was writing a column called "Live Nude Girls" for the adult section of Atlanta's weekly newspaper, Creative Loafing. I had a lot of fun with this, going around to different strip joints to interview the feature dancers.
I've structured first-person essays from the interviews with the dancers, the agents, the club owners, and the photographers. They were all, without exception, wonderful to talk with, all lively and fun and fascinating, and beautifully individual.
